This weekend was particularly great! Made drunken videos on Saturday night to celebrate Eoin's birthday...and spent the night chatting to the latest addition to my international super clan...and what an incredible person this is! Having lived in India, Brazil and (my beloved) Venezuela she is without a doubt one of the most interesting people I have met in a very long time! and that is saying something considering the people I get to meet through work :) and on top of being interesting she is also possibly the sweetest person EVER!

Then Sunday we went to Dun Laoighre, lazed in the park and read the Economist (oh how I love our free subscription), had some yummy crepes, international chattage (you can not get more diverse than from Brazil-Lithuania), loooooooong walks on the pier! sitting watching the waves and making video messages for special people waaay too far away from me ;) a good day all around!

Then just in case all that wasn't good enough...Anne and Tania come to visit! Greeeeeeeat food in Luigi Malone's! Fajitas rock the kasbar! as do shortbread ice-cream towers - glad I had my trustee roomie around to help out! The double espresso was ALL mine though! deadly buzz man!

oh and I think we stumbled across a killer idea for our roll call at IC :)

Home sweet home?!

I have some incredible roommates! and fantabulous people around that make me smile...It is just 20ish minutes on the DART to Dun Laoighre where I can sit and look at the sea to my heart's content and feck it, I might as well say the night life is mighty :)

So here it is Aisling....I am happy to be in Dublin :) but you still won't get me to wear the blue and navy :p

Lunchtime with Paddy :)

One of the highlights of my week - lunch with Paddy :) Go to the market get something yummy (today it was Rosti with chorizo, sun dried tomatoes and brie) and then go sit in the docklands and watch the river! So pretty! Last week there were sailing boats racing, today kids jumping in the Liffey! Either way entertaining :)

Anywho...I'm going to miss Paddy when he heads off to foreign lands to do his masters :( boo to further education! I jest of course! am super happy for him :) but I'll still miss him!

Random things....

So a collection of some random thoughts :)

It is a beuatiful day and I'm in the office :(

If I could pick any one place to be right now it would probably be the AI Transition party

My favourite song of the moment is "All over again" by Ronan Keating

So glad Colleen and I made it to the market this morning!

Isn't it amazing how at times your friends can make you so happy and at other times so incredibly sad?!

I am so very excited that we have all booked our flights to IC and that Prue has her multiple entry visa!

I am beyond thankful for some people in my life that continue to bring a smile to my face! ALWAYS :)

Just a funny story!

So yesterday was Ms McNulty's special day in the year (she doesn't like the "B" word) and so we celebrated in style...at the cinema! Before the cries of "BORING" start allow me to explain that we had spent the previous evening in the Capital Lounge toasting the course of true love (ie Eoin departing for Canadia)

Considering the fact that Tuesday night consisted of boatracing (Long Island Iced Teas) we decided to be more sensible! Anyway it being her special day she got to pick the movie...her choice?! Just my luck! It was sooooooooooooo (that's for you Jochen) incredibly bad! I mean usually with that kinda movie I just let myself go with it, force myself not to point out all the inaccuracies or blatantly impossible parts of the story but with this I just did not have the self control. Maybe it was the presence of that annoying girl from the OC?! I dunno! Anywho the point of the post is not really to give out about the movie but rather to explain what happened during it!

Three guys arrive in just before the movie begins, these are not 3 prepubescent boys looking forward to an hour and a half of Ms Lohan, no no...these were 3 middle aged men (although to be fair they probably were there for the same Ms. Lohan!) Middle of the movie a phone rings, everybody tuts in the expectation that whoever owns the phone will immediately silence it...but oh no! this is Dublin after all and so instead he answers the phone and proceeds to have a full blown conversation! :)

Right well I'm off for more infamous Capital cocktails :) just felt like sharing!

FORZA ITALIA!!!

Congratulations Cisco :)

Chez MC has been sufficiently warmed :)

Last Friday saw the inaugural party at the MC falt...some might even call it a housewarming :) here a few photos from the night! No, the mummy at the banklink was not at our party...although I am sure he would have been a hell of a lot of fun (no pun intended!) we just ran into him on our way dancing!!

Despite the lack of fancy dress characters, we did have lots of fun! With a special guest appearance from Excelsior how could we fail to :)

Quote of the week has got to go to one Francisco Seyler :)
"You have the Guinness factory in Ireland?!"

Yes Franky, Guinness is made in Ireland! And yes the same people that make the beer also make the Book of Records :)

Fun and frolics...it can only be Friday!

With the team all finally in place we headed off on our first adventure last Friday! To conquer the Guinness Storehouse! and conquer we did!

Colleen makes a new friend!! As I took the picture I heard her ask if he was free to go Salsa dancing on Sunday and Tuesday nights!

Look at us all together :) Our first proper proper team photo I think....how appropriate that it should be in the Guinness factory ;)

I think Jochen is going to enjoy this year?! Guinness quite literally on tap throughout the country!

All the way from Romania :)

Photographic evidence!

Photographic evidence that one Madalina Pruna has arrived safe and sound in the Emerald Isle!

And we are super dooper excited to have her here!

PRUE IS ON HER WAY!!!

After weeks of waiting, hoping, crossing fingers and yes even a little prayer! One Madalina Pruna is finally on her way to the Emerald Isle!

Prue got confirmation today that she will soon have her visa and so by the end of the week MC 06/07 will be complete :)

To quote Shirley........"WOOT" :) :)
