Post NTMS

I know it isn't Monday but well here I am actually doing a post NTMS write up....which is something that even IC didn't get!

Right well NTMS 2005 kicked off with some traditional bus worries....although no luggage went flying across roundabouts this year, some delegates were misplaced by an unofficial bus strike in the wonderful county of Waterford! typical!

Friday kicked off with a bang! and there were so many heroes and villains strolling around the hotelI felt as though I had wandered into the pages of a DC comic book! Kudos to Mark though for his rocky ensemble! If only our beloved LCP could remember to bring his costume ;-)

Saturday sessions were particularly funky more than anything else because they were relevant. With the newies eagerly attacking an @XP simulation, Dom and Calgary sequestered the EBs and experienced members upstairs for leadership, communication and planning sessions. Despite a wee-bit-o rule bending the Communication game was really beneficial and a certain member (who shall remain unidentified) even found it a bit erotic ;-) another highlight to the day has to be digging for worms ;-)

Sadly the rebels sank in the boat race :( with a little bit of help from the messer known as DCU Mark.....he made up for it later by leading us on a bin bag clad trip to the take-away ;-) a special birthday celebration! Brian was particularly impressed by the sausages! battered and all they were ;-) we also did some impressive ER with bewildered locals!

As they say all good things must come to an end and NTMS 2005 ended with Dom spraining her ankle during an exceptionally spirited rendition of Dragostea Din Tei!!! Go Dominique! she still has her rebel enthusiasm!!! ;-)

and I think thats it.....special word of thanks to my fellow EB members....as photographic evidence not fit for such a family blog will show....we out did ourselves this weekend in terms of EB-bonding ;-) hiyo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NTMS!

Right, so I know I am in the habit of writing just before I go to a conf and then posting a few random photos and not explain anything about the conf itself! However all this is about to change! Hand on heart I promise to write on monday and share all the gossip!
