Feel the magic?!!
Did I feel the magic?!! Did I what?!!
I'm still buzzing! Actually given the volume of work I had over the last two weeks, I honestly don't think I could have kept going if it wasn't for my WENA Newie buddies on msn!!
It is so weird, but we are home almost two weeks and yet I've still got the post-conf buzz but at the same time because of uni stuff it feels like Malaga was weeks ago?!!
Anywho, to the conference......I don't think I have ever experienced anything quite like it! The facis, OC and chair were absolutely amazing....even if things did tend to run on Spanish time...its not like we were going anywhere, we had time to wait....and it just gave Rueben more time to play games!!!
But the truly amazing part was the fact that each and every delegate brought with them such incredible enthusiasm...everybody and I mean EVERYBODY threw themselves entirely into every aspect of the conf! Whether it was dancing in morning plenary, contributing to discussions, paying attention in sessions or partying just a little bit harder that night...every last delegate gave 110%....and boy was it worth it!!!
Zoe (the chair) kept telling us its not what AIESEC can give to you, but what you take out of it...and I think this applies to everybody there...we took as much as we could, we learned, we networked, we laughed, we made some f***ing awesome friends!! and the greatest part about it we brought home some wicked memories that make all the hard work seem worth while! I've had so many msn chats since I came home with people talking about how hard it is to keep working on ICX, getting knock-backs, maybes etc but now we have happy happy thoughts to motivate and encourage us!!
All I can say is where to next?!!
